By the way, we say that trees are “growing” because they are: that is called “vegetative growth.”

Spent most of today sawing and splitting 'sticks' and filling the log store.

Its completely full to the top - all to feed Calcifer !

Update - sore shoulders and arms.

I'd love this but it's a bit expensive.

I've been stuck with work the last 10 days while the wife took the twins with the in-laws on holiday. After 10 days I finally get to see my girls tonight. Seriously can't wait to have my peace shattered :D

Dan Hawkins is one of my unsung guitar heroes. The man is surfing while doing his guitar solo.

looking forward to the London gig in December!

    and he gets the solo

i like the darkness a lot, but they suffer when they become a platform for Justin to show off, much better when they are a band

100% agree. This, for me, is why Last of Our Kind was the best album they've done since Permission to Land, as they acted as a band again, rather than Justin + Others. This was the real downfall of One Way Ticket, as much as I like it.
Also, Dan producing seems to have really bought out something... hefty. I very much like.

Frankie being back for the last two albums has made a big difference as well, at least in the live shows and interviews/press. He's such a great character and a key part of their look and prescence.

Back when I thought I could maintain employment (13½ years ago), I had a coworker who would play Permission to Land; I am just now listening to that album for the first time.

I have completed my analysis of Synchrony's automated, incorrect allocation of my second manual, debt-clearance payment. In this one instance, their automated bullshit worked out in my favor because my original plan did not anticipate having so much money available. Though I will have to spend an extra $86.41 to lower my monthly payment to what I had originally planned, adding that payment after said incorrect allocation will eliminate $188.23 more debt than what had been my planned next target—which equates to a $34.42 debt-clearance advantage, with $67.40 less outlay.

That fan brush is way too small for a Bob Ross painting. ;)

I never have liked "cutesy" kinds of figures, but people started giving me the occasional Pop! figure relevant to my interests, so I have a small collection I've grudgingly come to appreciate. :D That would be a great addition that I'd actually buy myself.
