Was playing around with the OR15 and Marshall in stereo with the Salvo. Basically have the Marshall to be loud, and super 80s' sounding. Not taking you're head off with high end, punchy mids, enough bass, *loud*, and not too much gain. Then have the OR15 to just add a bit of texture and to it and support it (all the EQ basically on 0, with a slight crunch). That with a small hall reverb and a duck delay through the Marshall.

Was one of those moments where I had to whip out my phone and record the amps settings immediately. Sounded incredible. Listen to Cupids Dead by Extreme. I am no Nuno, but it is damn close.
So easy to get lost in the sound. I started 2 hours ago. I thought it was 40 minutes.

Playing bass - in a band - made me smile.
As the guys mentioned, I'm enjoying myself in this role. Which is really true and made me smile some more. The gear is Warwick+Ashdown (thanks Dr.Paul & Dave) and I'm completely good to go. Little gigs coming up in August and September.

    Yay!

Tbh I was expecting pain and callouses. I got neither thankfully. My hands have been dealing with a lot recently (building work, sand paper etc) so perhaps this has kept them rough n ready. Thank you very much mate, it's a cracking guitsr and it ms got an amazing resonance and response.

Thank you :) I got an hour of playtime before I started brokering a deal for a neck and body. SC Relics has officially sold its first unloaded guitar!

I absolutely HATE to sound needy and begging for likes, but if I could get my band page to 500 likes then I win a bet with a friend who said it couldn't be done. We're getting close now - would any gracious (FB using) forumites help a brother out?

It would really mean the world to me since I didn't think it could be done either! Only asking here since you guys (and gals) are the best.

Though I have a corker to post in this thread's counterpart, I will say that I got to watch this week's episode of That Pedal Show whilst drinking coffee from my That Pedal Show mug. Furthermore, I greatly enjoyed my usual post-viewing voyage through the comments—being as helpful as possible, naturally.

Old dog, but new dog for us. Previous owner passed, and we're the new home and family for Mitzi. :) She's 7, a Corgi/Chihuahua mix.

My son hates being in the car. Screams all the way. Today we're on a train! His first proper train journey. He loves it! [IMG]
