I buy/sell/trade fairly regularly and I’ve done so on FB, Gumtree and eBay without any issues.
The tips I would give are
1. Agree on the price before you meet and be clear that haggling isn’t an option.
2. If I’m meeting someone at my house, Mitch is ALWAYS home and answers the front door to make it clear that I’m not on my tod...sans helmet though; we don’t want to scare the poor soul until the deal’s been done:D
3. If someone wants meet me to buy something in Glasgow (fairly common - Hburgh can be a pain to get to) I always meet them in a coffee shop; it’s a place where there are other people close by and...I can sit and have a coffee inside. Sometimes it’s a quick hello and gear/cash exchange, other times it’s a doing the deal first (I always get that out of the way first) then having a coffee together and a bit of a gab.
4. Again, if I’m going to someone’s house to try and buy a piece of gear I take either M or my brother or a friend with me.
In short, guitars etc are AWESOME but not awesome enough to risk either your safety or being ripped off by someone...
:)

Honestly, I'd pay a premium if M is answering the door in his King Arthur headwear. How awesome would that be!

Someone from Facebook Marketplace wants to try out, and potentially buy, my Peavey C30.

Anyone had someone come to their house to try out/buy something? Am I right to feel uneasy about that? Any tips?
No, but I did go to someone else's house to buy my GT100, it was actually his parents house, and was only let into his front room, and I cant blame him. Fortunately for him I wasn't a mad axe wielding psychopath. :) I don't think I'd want someone to come to mine. If for nothing else that they'd know where you live and there was a strong possibility there would be more gear there... Although I think a lot of the time you can judge a lot by the communication you get, if something seems a bit fishy, just say no.

TBH if Mitch had met me at the door "helmet out", I'd probably not have stayed for the chilli!!! :D

Does anybody have a good suggestions for webshops that carry second hand guitars. I already checked Andertons and GuitarGuitar. I'm looking for an Ibanez SZ. GG has a black one for a decent price, but black is kind of boring.

@Tankman
Here’s a few UK based ones to check out...
https://www.richtonemusic.co.uk/second-hand/ (follow them on eBay for daily updates of fresh pre owned stock)
https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/pre-owned/
https://musicstreet.co.uk/collections/used-guitars-uk
https://www.coda-music.com/secondhand.html?limit=all
https://www.badlandsguitars.co.uk/used-guitars/
There’s always GAS inducing guitars on here of course... http://www.thefretboard.co.uk/categories/guitars-for-sale
And FB, Reverb.com and Gumtree too natch.
Disclaimer: if you head falls off or explodes from GAS overload you brought it on yourself...

marktplaats :)
You could try sacksioni in amsterdam. But unless he knows you're looking for something he probably only buys older vintage stuff.

That...is....freaking...AWESOME! Richtone even lists sold items. Damn, they've had so many SZ's already. I will keep an eye on them. I actually got picture from GG, but the SZ they have is not in great shape and the price is too high for the state it is in. Also, it's black, and I would prefer the natural mahogany version.
