    It's a crazy price. When I saw they were being made I was really into the idea of getting one....until I saw the price!

    Not sure on this one, I don't know what it is? It must be the lack of p90

    It's a bit of a strange one for me too to be honest. But things that I wouldn't normally look twice at are peeking my interest lately.

    I think he meant he's not sure what's not sitting right with him about the guitar mate.

    Sweetwater offers an exclusive Vox AC10C1 model which is loaded with a Celestion G10 Greenback, hence it is only 1dB louder than the Vox AC4C1-12 (which is loaded with the Celestion VX12, itself a relabeled Seventy 80).

    EDIT: Using today's episode of That Pedal Show as an exemplar, specifically 27:53 (YouTube time link), it seems that the Sweetwater version of the Vox AC10C1 would exactly mimic the measured volume of said episode's Vox AC15C1X (loaded with a Celestion Blue)—given that I sit approximately one meter closer to my amp than they do to theirs.

    Tempted to sell it all and buy a Helix. (does schoolboy math in head) Hmmm, it's a possibility. :)

    The Helix LT is the same, apart from the OLED scribble strips.

    The full fat Helix has much more connection/ in an outs options and the scribble strips are really useful.
    Having said that,
    - the price difference is considerable
    - I don't actually use the ins and outs and
    - the Daw plugin version has to be a contender (depending on needs)

    So basically er yeah, the LT is a good option

    If I admit that I have studiously avoided ALL demos/reviews of the Dirty Shirley
    Then you know I can say this with a COMPLETELY clear conscience;
    “Don’t do it @Alan O'hagan. It’s a dreadful pedal, massively overrated and the box it comes in smells faintly of cow poo.”
    :)
