We're all just having a bit of fun....it helps to pass the day in the office!
6 leaves it open to interpretation. It's not wrong. It's jazz.
By variation of 4 I mean I always think in quarter notes. I sort of gravitate towards that.
It's 19/16 now.
Got my solo. The thing I'm really struggling to nail down this time is the tone.
Btw, mine's in 2.75/Pi
Euler's Number or GTFO!
As a bit of inspiration, I found a forum jam from Paul Gilbert's forum (I'm not sure if it's his, or the Artistworks forum - I found it on YouTube and will investigate further - the site paulgilbertguitar.com doesn't seem to work).
I haven't yet looked to see if they did more of them. What this makes me wonder, though, is when we're going to get someone from @Chapman Guitars Staff to come along and contribute to one of these jam videos? I'd say this time is an ideal opportunity...in fact, as it's a blues track, we could have Rob, Rabea, Matt AND Lee all doing jams! How awesome would that be?
Way to make me feel so much better about mine @GloopyJon...........
Great video. Shame about the bloke with the headphones mugging it up and making all the people look bad
I'd rather like that on a t-shirt.
Someone probably already has one, though.
Knocked something up, where do I upload the files please?
Unless @GloopyJon particularly wants to edit this one, it's me this time. Have pm'd the dropbox.
It's good to share!
I think I'll have a go this year as well ! not really au fait with the video and audio at the same time thing but I'll certainly give it a try !
Agreed, It would be great to see some of them jump in on this.
2 entries so editing has started.
Dropbox is the same as before, most of you will have it, don't be lazy and ask me again. (unless you're deleted your PM's)
Do let me know if you've uploaded something though, as I don't open Dropbox by default.
what kind of length for each submission do you need guys ? Also if you can send me the dropbox links please Wuzza , cheers
The length is the length of the loop, which is in the first post of this thread. It's about a minute long.
superb cheers , wasn't sure if you wanted multiple loops of it
One is plenty, it can get long enough as it is, without multiple entries per person.
Separate names with a comma.
