What put a smile on your face today?

Decided to give my unused old epi G400 a new lease of life as my e-flat tuned guitar ripped off the old 10's slung on some 11's and with some truss fettling a touch of nut fileing and a spot of intonation she's playing a dream loving the extra chunkyness of the 11's!!

Often find that awesome bedroom or home tone just doesn;t cut throught the mix when playing with a band purely because the frequencies your using are the same ones everyone else has their equipment set to lol

MB-1 (Chapman Guitars Bass) Spec/Design Discussion

You can super glue the chips back down with water thin superglue its relatively easy to sand it back level with the surrounding board if your careful. If you use heat to get the frets out you shouldn't get too much chip-out.

MB-1 (Chapman Guitars Bass) Spec/Design Discussion

You only need a soldering iron, a pair of nipper type pliers, some veneer/plasticard, a decent blade and some sandpaper in a few grades I didn't find it to be rocket science to get a good finish.

There's no point building a fretless as it would be very easy to convert a fretted to fretless anyway if you were that way inclined.
