With that selection of wood, the way you've chosen to join the two pieces and line up the grain, and the standard of work done so far, you've engineered a no-lose situation. It doesn't matter what colour you choose (or not if you leave 'natural') - only a matter of 'personal preference'...

You may want to consider adding an expression pedal or wah...... don't think you have enough going on there:)
